Alyssa Ann
Owner and Vocal Instructor
Hi, I’m Alyssa.

I have just relocated to the twin cities with my giant dog who thinks she's a human. My job is to help you find your voice and navigate your musical goals. I believe that every individual singer has their own unique voice, and together we can develop the sound that sets you apart.

I have coached students of all ages through auditions for local and school run theatre productions, for American Idol, for the Voice, for open mics, for jobs in the field, etc. I am comfortable taking students in genres I haven’t performed live with such as heavy metal (Tips from Melissa Cross), hip hop, rap or jazz.

The styles of music in which I have performance experience include: classical, musical theatre, pop, punk, rock, country, and folk. I hold a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Vocal Performance from MNSU, Mankato. I studied vocal pedagogy (The Teaching of the Voice) at MNSU, Mankato and Shenandoah Conservatory in Virginia. I am a member of NATS (The National Association of Teachers of Singing). I have led and co-led church/worship music for 10+ years at multiple churches. Also, I have experience vocal directing community teens shows, such as Disney's Descendants and Chicago Teens Edition, at the Mankato Playhouse. Recently I was involved in a community theatre production of Footloose. I am in the process of recording and releasing a three song EP.
